About Me

Cinematographer  

Anantha Krishnan is a cinematographer whose work has been showcased at prestigious festivals including Camerimage (Poland), the Vilmos Zsigmond Cinematography Film Festival (Hungary), and most recently, he was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Brussels International Cineverse Film Festival for the short film New Planet.

He continues to explore analogue and 35mm film formats through international artist residencies and training programs such as the Camargo Foundation (France), BAC (New York), the Baltic Analog Lab (Latvia), the Film Spring Open (Poland), and the 35mm Cinematography Program at ESCAC (Spain).

Drawing on a background in development studies and visual anthropology, Anantha approaches image-making as both craft and inquiry. Educated at the Hungarian Film School and LUCA School of Arts in Belgium, his cinematographic work spans fiction, documentary, and video art across Europe and Asia
